Coloring with Peter

 

The popular story book, Peter The Peteeatrick Panda's Playground, enjoyed by children ages 4 years to 10 years, is now in coloring book form.

 

The  original book is a heartwarming series of short stories about a cuddly, lovable panda bear's adventures at the hospital  that helps  kids better understand lives' experiences in a comforting and humorous way and serves as a communication tool for the child's caretaker.  

 

The new coloring book keeps the same basic theme, but the focus is specifically for children having surgery and showing the steps they will take for Same Day Surgery or for surgery that requires an overnight stay.

 

The coloring book is one more tool to establish a communication base with the children.  Coloring provides a mechanism for children to release their fears and tension with the stroke of a crayon. This activity keeps them focused and takes their mind off their hospitalization.
